Kom Ombo Temple, is directly on the Nile River. The Temple was dedicated to worshiping the Crocodile God. Archeologists found several mummified crocodiles in the temple. In the rear of the temple, there are relief's of medical instruments. The instruments looked very similar to instruments used today. One day while traveling north on the Nile, we ran into a wind/sand storm. We were very surprised to see white caps on the Nile. The local Egyptians were having a really hard time navigating their small boats.
