Jiuzhaigou is a world heritage site and one of the most pristine and beautiful parks in China. High in the mountains the park reaches a final snow capped elevation of about 16,000 feet . The mineral rich water is a startling blue color and as clear as glass. Mirror lake, the Pearl falls and Pearl shoals are some of the main attractions. We spent two days hiking and enjoying picnics in the park. It took two days travel to get to the remote park but it was worth it.
