Sixty two tombs have been excavated in the Valley of the Kings. We visited Tuthmosis IV , Rames, III, and Rames VI. These are elaborate tombs for pharaohs. On another day, our guide Hassan, took us to see the Tombs of the Nobles in Luxor. Very few people know where these tombs are located. These tombs were for important Egyptian dignitaries. Many of the tombs did not have light. We had to bring flash lights and protective head gear. Fortunately, locals would use mirrors to reflect sun light down the shaft ways for us to descend into. The fee was usually a dollar or two. The art work we were able to photographs in these tombs was extraordinary. We felt very privileged to see undiscovered 5000 year old art work. We hope you enjoy our photographs
